More New Piper Fan Fiction at Zarthani.net

Beam's "When in the Course--" has always been an awkward story. Written as part of the Terrohuman Future History series but never published at the time it was written, the story has several elements which Piper subsequently incorporated into his Paratime story,
"Gunpowder God," the first installment of his famous Paratime novel ~Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen~.

I've taken a stab at removing those elements which reappeared in "Gunpowder God," seeking to place "When in the Course--" firmly in the Terrohuman Future History universe. My "reboot," titled "In Congress Assembled--," is now available on the fan fiction page at Zarthani.net:

http://www.zarthani.net/fanfiction.htm

The basic plot-line is essentially unchanged and there are footnotes explaining the most substantive changes from the original text. I've also made some minor revisions meant to make the story a better fit with the Terrohuman Future History.

Enjoy,

David
