Lensman;

Dhergabar is the headquarters of the Paratime Police. Verkan Vall's office is located in the green colored building in the center of the cluster of buildings to the center right. It's location-as I understand it from John F. Carr, is in the area of Paris, France.

I recall it being mentioned in Piper's stories-but, I'll have to leave it to others to nail down specific books Dhergabar is mentioned. The painting "H. Beam Piper Portrait" (also offered at PODgallery) is shown inside the office located there.

Pardon my ignorance: Is Dhergabar a world from one of Piper's stories, and if so, which one?

Hardcover _Lord_Kalvan_ at ABEbooks.com

This is a _fantastic_ price for the Garland reprint:

http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/ListingDetails?bi=1276740789

If I didn't have a copy already I would jump on this. (Indeed, I thought about purchasing it and then reselling it at twice the price asked for here!)

Now if I could only track down the Garland _Space_Viking_!

Enjoy,

David

Alas, I've since had word from Mr. Hemry that his plans for a sequel to _Space_Viking_/_Cosmic_Computer_ have been put on hold
indefinitely because publishers aren't interested in follow-on
efforts for works in the public domain like _Viking_ and _Computer_.
