The Technic Civilization future history chronicles the expansion of the human race out into the galaxy. Consisting of the adventures of Nicholas van Rijn and David Falkhayn, Traders of the Polesotechnic League, and of Dominc Flandry, Agent of the Terran Empire, as well as stories from the period prior to the League, the "Time of Troubles" between the collapse of the League and the founding of the Empire, and the Long Night which follows the sack of the Empire, the Technic Civilization series spans over five thousand years of future history.
